In 2025, the Integrity and Oversight Committee reviewed the legislative framework for the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC).
The Commissioner made a submission to this inquiry. The submission noted that if the legislative framework did not consider gender, then IBAC:
- cannot properly identify or address corrupt conduct
- cannot ensure its reporting and investigating processes are safe and accessible to all Victorians.
You can access the Inquiry and full report on the Parliament of Victoria's website(opens in a new window).
