Ongoing obligations

The Gender Equality Act requires defined entities to fulfil certain ongoing obligations to promote gender equality.

These are separate from your obligations around Gender Equality Action Plans, workplace gender audits, and progress reporting, which are required to be submitted at a certain point in time and have defined periods. Your ongoing obligations must be considered at all times.
